Indian Creek Nature Center
“Indian Creek Nature Center features ~320 acres of woods and wetland within the Upper and Lower Lakes Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in the Town of Canton, NY. The Center borders flooded lands between the Oswegatchie and Grasse Rivers designed to enhance waterfowl habitat. The nearly eight miles of trails at Indian Creek include a boardwalk trail through a marsh to an overlook with expansive views of Upper and Lower Lakes WMA. All trails are free and open to the public. Many of the trails include informational plaques or feature self guided nature walks. Please enjoy the center as a wildlife haven with a myriad of amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and resident and migratory birds. Guided programs are offered throughout the year.” (from https://www.indiancreeknaturecenterny.org )
